Teaching Assistant: SYDE 361 – Engineering Design (May – August 2016)

  • Mentored four teams of 5-8 students for 7 hours a week to coach them on the design process:
    • Planning, scoping & definition
    • Exploration, synthesis and design implications

Teaching Assistant: SYDE 114 – Numerical and Applied Calculus  (January – April 2016)

  • Taught a 2 hour tutorial every other week to 55 undergraduate students.
  • Covered topics on:
    • Eigenvlaues and eigenvectors
    • LU decomposition
    • Numerical methods for linear systems
    • Linear ODEs, exact ODEs and separable ODEs
    • Numerical techniques such as Euler’s method and Runge-Kutta method

Guest Lecture: SYDE 114 – Numerical and Applied Calculus (March 22, 2016)

  • Taught a 2 hour guest lecture on Euler’s Method and the Runge-Kutta Method.
  • Covered how to use MATLAB to solve ordinary differential equations.
